Twitter Rocks! But…
I’ve got to tell you - now that I finally understand Twitter (I admit, I was a little slow to catch on), I absolutely love it! It keeps me up-to-date with what’s going on with people in my industry, friends, and just what’s new in areas that interest me. It is great for team work, too. I am taking part in this year’s 30-day Challenge, and Twitter has beed a Godsend to keep me up to date with what’s going on in #30dc as well as with me Thirty Day Challenge teammates.
My only complaint with Twitter is not even with the Twitter system itself. It is more with the Twitter users.
People NEED to learn to either a) explain what the heck they are talking about, or b) Use the Direct Response function!
I am seeing more and more people tweet things like: “Hey Bob - Got your email. Thanks” or “This is cool - www.SomeObscureURL.com” This gets really irritating because it is meaningless drivel that is not meant for everyone’s view.
In those examples, the “Hey Bob - Got your email. Thanks” needs to be a Direct Response to “Bob.” That way only Bob gets it and no one else is annoyed. To do a direct response, type d username then your message.
In the second example, sharing a cool site on Twitter is great! But I would really appreciate a little more detail. Like “Cool new site on Niche Marketing methods! www.NicheSupremacy.com or something. That way, if I’m interested in Niche Marketing, I’m gonna check it out, if I’m not into that then I won’t waste my time.
All in all, I think Twitter is awesome. There is a little bit of a learning curve for the users and a few bugs for the Twitter folks to work out, but I think it’s going to become a great service. I actually check my Twitter more often that my email!

Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures - Commuters Struggle to Cope With Gas Prices
This may seem a little off-topic at first glance, but if you’re not to the point where you are working from home full-time yet, chances are you still have to go to work. And how do you get to work each day? My guess is you drive.
Well, with gas prices rising steadily on a daily basis, chances are you are spending more and more of your hard-earned paycheck on fuel. Alternative fuel sources, such as ethanol, biodiesel and HHO fuel, are becoming more and more popular these days as consumers are looking for ways to cut their fuel costs. Water for Gas Reviews is a new site that reviews the most popular HHO fuel guides on the market today.
What can we do?
- For those of you who live in an urban area with a good public transportation system, taking the train or bus will cut both costs and carbon emissions.
- If you are ready to buy a new vehicle, and you have lots of money to spend, you could buy a new hybrid or electric vehicle. (Of course, if you have lots of money to spend, you probably aren’t worrying about rising fuel costs anyway)
- For the rest of us…alternative fuel sources, such as Hybrid Hydrogen Oxygen (HHO), are our best bet.
Installing an HHO system in your car can be done in an afternoon, for less than the cost of a couple of tanks of gas, and can increase your car’s mileage from 30% to 50%. For the average person, that adds up to anywhere from $1500 to $4000 savings per year!
Water for Gas Reviews has reviewed 4 of the top HHO Fuel Kit Guides available online. Check out Water for Gas Reviews and find the one that’s right for you!
Using a water4gas system is an easy affordable way to lighten the load on your wallet, the environment and your vehicle.

My Email is Overflowing with “Mass Control” Hype!
I don’t know about you, but I have had it up to my eyebrows with this whole Frank Kern Mass Control thing! My inbox is overflowing with “Mass Control” hype! I swear, everybody and their dog is promoting this thing! Now, if everybody is promoting it, it must be profitable…so maybe I should be promoting it too! But this is just one band-wagon I’m not eager to hop on.
Even the off-shoots from this campaign are getting out of control! Those who aren’t promoting it are promoting something to complement it or something that they have crafted to appear somehow related to it. “Mass Control” and Frank Kern” must be some pretty hot keywords these days! (Maybe I should go check what an Adwords keyword phrase costs these days, just for kicks)
Anyway, my point is, while the $2ooo pricetag is out of most new peoples reach, and just for the record - Mass Control is NOT for newbies! - a LOT can be learned by studying Frank’s marketing campaign on this one. Read the emails, watch the free videos, read the Mass Control Blog. Study his whole campaign carefully. It is brilliant.
If you’d like a more affordable alternative to Mass Control, that is geared towards people just starting out, check out Dave Gale’s free video Automated Cash Formula
I’ve had a chance to take a look at Dave’s Automated Cash Formula and I can’t say enough good things about it.
